Weekly Goals

Super excited to kick off this week. I'll be doing mostly non-writing activities, but there are a few REALLY important short pieces that need finished.

I am getting ready to release my novel, so this week is mostly dedicated to formatting and marketing. Still waiting on the last few chapters to be edited by eyes other than mine, but it's coming. My editor knows I want to Indie publish this by the 1st of October.

My to-do list is as follows:

Write multiple short descriptions of the novel
Write a query letter (even though I'm self-publishing, I believe this is good practice for "pitching" the book to anyone)
Draft blog post announcing release
Format chapter headings
Format 2 copies - one for print, one for Kindle

Obviously I can't do the final formatting until the book is completely edited, but I'm hoping that will be done before the end of the week. If nothing else, it will be something I'll be working on this weekend. ;)
