Hi, and welcome! Those look like pretty good goals.
Worldbuilding is just what it sounds like. Building the world that your story takes place in. It can be a part of a story in any genre, but you usually hear people talking about it in regard to fantasy and science fiction. It's creating all of the relevant details of your world. This can be a pretty extensive list of things, from major things like countries and science/magic, to small things like types of currency. For those two genres, it usually involves creating history as well. Society, religion, major events in the world's past. It can be a pretty crazy undertaking.
In fact, it's so crazy, there is actually something called "worldbuilder's disease," where you get so involved with creating your world (because it is fun), that you go overboard, and never get around to actually writing the story you were making it for. I know I've done that before.
Anyway, welcome to the group and good luck with your goals!
