No, that won't work. That [premium] setting affects the whole forum (who can post), not just a specific thread. Group Only Posting: This setting is allowed only for a Premium or higher membership level. When working on this Message Forum with a Group, you can set the forum to both allow posts only by the group members and a minimum level a group member must be in order to post in the forum. The only option currently available is the all-manual one: to edit each post in the thread you want to "lock" with a notice that any replies to the thread will be deleted, and then do that if someone replies anyway. The notice could go in the subject line as an emoticon  , or in words at the top of the message body. Also include the policy in the forum header. It won't prevent people from replying, but serving notice justifies deleting the unwanted posts. Hope that helps.
