I saw from your bio that you're interested in mental health. The "disABILITY WRITERS GROUP" Open in new Window. is for people with disabilities (I'm pretty sure that includes mental disabilities) and it doesn't matter whether its your own disability or that of a friend/family member.
In terms of crafts, there are lots of people here who are interested in those. You'll find some of them at "Creative Hobby and Crafts Forum" Open in new Window. or you can easily search for 'crafts'. *Smile* I'm into cooking and scrapbooking myself.
