I journal too, but mine is a blog. I love the look of real journals, but I tend to neglect them. When I blog, I know I'll capture the day's events, thoughts, etc, so it's a more reliable method. Every now and then I try and go back to paper journals though. *Smile*
I like poetry too, but short stories are harder for me.
Now that you've got some items in your portfolio, you could post them on "Please Review" Open in new Window. or "The Shameless "Plug" Page" Open in new Window.. Don't forget - if you review others, they're more likely to review you in return. *Smile*
