Noticing Newbies

Hello Angelica, welcome to WDC.

There is a whole lot one can say about the site. If you haven't checked it out, I would suggest looking at "Writing.Com 101"  [E]. It's got a general over on things you may want to know about the site in general. Other than that, just post some writing and check out things that interest you.

Don't worry about not being a "professional writer". I've been on this site for almost 8 years now and still wouldn't label myself as such. We all come in varying levels and styles in the writing world.

What kind of things are you thinking about writing? Poetry? Fiction? Short stories? Novels? Nonfiction? Creative nonfiction? All the above?

It takes a little time to get used to the site but once you do, I'm sure you can find your niche in this vast community of writers and readers.
