Noticing Newbies

Hello to all!

I am new here and my name is Doug. I have always loved books, reading and writing. My dream is when I retire to write everyday. Then I will have the time and now I don't. I work 7 days a week now as a product protection specialist with CDW Corp. I also love to oil paint landscapes and portraits, another passion I want to do when I retire.

When I was younger I did write and oil paint when I had more time. I want to buy a small farm or ranch, raise some animals, take long walks in the woods each day and write and paint. I have a library of books I have put together over the years. I love anything and everything when it comes to reading and writing. I love ready poetry and writing also. I will post some of my poetry and let me know what you think.

I grew up in a haunted house, have sighted and been close to hundreds of UFOs in my time and was four feet away from a Bigfoot. Do you I believe in all these things? You bet I do. Nothing like a close encounter to make one believe. I have also had visions of past lives from as far back as I remember and had a near death experience.
