HI! A lng time since we met on this site! Good to see your hanadle on my screen again! I like this story. The beginning of the love affair between man and dog, when the first wolf traded its freedom for domesticity and returned faithful service for lovinv care and the protection of man. The dog who shares my home had as his distant ancestor a wolf who strayed into the company of men and discovered that this was a really good life after all. I like how you hud the identity of the wold until the end when the whole story came clear in the last sentence. I have some bews to tell. My great granddaughter was born last Sunday morning and she is beautiful. We came through Hurricane Sandy mostly unscathed. We lost five trees from the property but no damage to our home. We were three days without electricity running water and heat learning we were not quite as entitled as we had come to think we were. A tree fell on my son's and my daughter's cars as they were parked side by side and they got some damage that way but all insured. My daughter's car is her new Camry she has had less than a month! But in view of how much suffering and loss some people have gone through she is not complaining. I believe when i last 'talked to you I was having my eye surgery (cornea transplants) which has succeeded beyond my most daring hope and I have come from legally blind to nearly 20/20 needing glasses only to read and the computer. All in all we have much for which to give thanks at this season. Would love to hear from you again! Doris |
