Basically, I'm hoping it will be the first of a novel series of Paranormal romance, so it is setting up the whole thing, while introducing the two characters.

Kha'lic Drahl is a demon lord who has started overthrowing each individual realm in an effort to have total control and domination. In his quest for this goal, he attacked Avalon, the one place where all of these worlds converged, and lost his advantage. Avalon fell, but not before the portals to the realms were closed halting his immediate advance and domination into the worlds....

It has been two thousand years since Avalon's fall, and hope is beginning to wane, but as the portals open, hope comes in the idea that perhaps Avalon can be resurrected, and select warriors found to fight of Drahl's armies to eventually defeat him.

Enter the people of our first story.

Vonyx De'Lisle is the bastard son of Merlin the Pendragon, Wizard of Avalon, and sorcerer of Legend. She is Ariella Trelian, known as the Black Shadow, for her acts of killing and decimating whole villages in the name of power. Her origins unknown, her fierce spirit and power is a force to be reckoned with and one that could very well burn Vonyx alive if given the chance.....
