Ember - thank you so much for all of your input there. It's really helpful to me and has really made me think about how I'm going to write my characters, especially when I edit. Because you're right, it's a grey area. The idea of the amulet for the woman resurrected is a brilliant idea that I think I'll use! It's strange, I consider myself a horror writer but then every long project idea I have leads me back to fantasy of some sort....
