I have yet to write 50k words in less than 29 days... However, that doesn't stop me from joining the competition and joke around about how I will beat everyone and steal the top spot!

Yes, 50k is a possible goal for me- well, that has always been my pattern anyway. I should gather all the forum posts and present scroll posts in a document eventually and then add that into my word count too to help speed up how many words I have written so far if my novel does not make it to 50k.

Many more will have given up writing the novel now and still remain with a word count of 0. No, you are not at the bottom of the list, you are in the top ten just for writing 1 word even! NaNo is about writing for the enjoyment of giving yourself a challenge. It is not about competition though that is what I take NaNo for.

Therefore... since I have written 200 words in 60 minutes... I will claim I am catching up to you now Ember. Mwuahahahahaha

Edit: and there is an easily 100 words in this post... I should use it! :-d
