The Write-A-Thon

I'm trusting everyone to be on their best behavior and monitor their own deadlines, so you should use your own time zone (local time) for the purposes of starting and stopping your NaNo efforts, and reporting them on the NanoCounter. I will not tally up final word counts until after midnight local time in the latest possible time zone (American Samoa) on November 30th. I'm trusting that each person will stop at midnight their time, but I won't actually take a snapshot of the final word counts until after midnight in the latest time zone, just in case we have any competitors on that side of the world working up until the last second.

I'm also on the West Coast, so don't worry; we're in the same boat!
