Ok, the language root is Gaelic. I think that is the language of the servant/farmer/employee. I am more comfortable with Germanic and Eastern European languages, but I found an neat English to Irish Gaelic at http://www.freelang.net . Using the Inuit example, I found that people = na daoine. Shortened = Nadaoine, perhaps Nadaoween. Play around, you may find a form that meets your needs. Remember North men became Norsemen became Normans. Servant = seirbhÃseach which could be simplified to Seerbseech or something like that. Blade = Lann. Journey = Turas which might work. Farmer produced a cognate (fiermeoir) , but tenant = tiononta These are some words to work with and you can plug in a few words on your own. |
