Chrome both highlights the indicated text and rolls the screen down to display where it is.

I'm pretty sure most browsers do that. Even newer IE versions do that. (I have to use IE work for assistance with basic tech troubleshooting, so I've had to learn how to use the internet's least favorite browser.)
