I once received a review on a spiritual piece. The entire review was - Ha Ha, too bad God doesn't exist.

They rated the item a 1.

I sent a reply thanking them for taking the time to read my poem, but since we were a writing site, I would prefer to receive reviews based on the quality of my writing and not a difference in ideology. I mentioned that I respected their right to their opinion, and suggested they extend that respect to others in the future.

There is not much you can do with people who choose to attack, other than take a higher road.

And like the proverbial duck, let it roll off your back.
