Noticing Newbies

Hi everyone -

I wanted to join this site mainly to help improve my writing skills in hopes of a potential career advancement. My work related writing is somewhat technical in nature and conforms to AP style writing which is much different from the writing I would do if I could write for the fun of it.

Any guidance and/or feedback you all provide during my time here would be most welcomed and greatly appreciated.
