Thanks for the great review. I'm starting to see that I need work on Kade a bit in this story. What I'm getting from you is that she should instinctively, automatically revert to her training, no matter how she got it whenever there is a situation needing it. She shouldn't even have to think about it, it should just happen, but when it comes to the rest of what she knows of the world, she can still be naive, innocent even. So, even though she naively walks into these men, her fighting skills should take down say four of them in a basic automatic response to her training and then the other four can take her down and take her to their boss who decides the best thing for her would be rape and death. Is that how you are seeing this? I'm going to work really hard on this one to get it finished and edited/rewritten for publishing. I have got to get back into the publishing game, my three books I do have published aren't selling and my publisher may have to pull them. That's basically because with these small epubs we ahve to do our own promotion. I haven't done that since my sons passed away, one in 2009 and one in 2010 due to complications of a disease they both had. Anyway, didn't mean to lay that one you. Just really wanted to see if I was following what you were trying to say. I'll definitely look over some information on knife fighting and hand to hand combat. Sometimes even when you see these things it's hard to describe in writing.
