Noticing Newbies

Hi All - I'm a newbie - just joined Writing.com.

I'm super excited about this, this is a kind of scary step for me.
I've always wanted to write and be a writer. I'm hoping that I can learn to do that here.

It's scary because other people might actually read the stuff I write, and even more, perhaps even provide feedback!
I'm a bit of a wimp, perhaps, but I'm kicking myself in the behind, and I hope to meet members of the community and interact.

I'm excited to be here; this seems like a wonderful place.
