Hey everyone,

I'm new to writing.com and still trying to find my way around. My friend who directed me to this site suggested I start with this forum. Other suggestions are welcome.

I write mostly science fiction and fantasy, sometimes with a fair amount of romance. I'm also an editor, so when I'm not neck deep in my own writing, I'm hip deep in someone else's. And I love it.

I'm going to try and provide links to the 2 parts of the story I posted, and hopefully it'll work. This story is the introduction of two minor characters from a novel I keep meaning to write. The world is a fantasy/technological mix, though you won't see anything other than the magic side here. Think Earth if the noble families had had magic. I hope you enjoy.
