Thanks a bunch for the review! You've made some good points about Character and dialogue, which is an area I know I need to work on. With the word count restriction I felt unable to clarify their relationship further, but I agree with you about the info dump: that data could be relayed more believably in dialogue as an extension of their conversation.
Sorry it took so long to get back to you on this, but I've been on a cruise and cut off from the Internet.
