Not to bring E. back into the discussion but I think he said it best when he said "we all have egos and as writers we have more than most." I paraphrase. Its very true. I know it, you know it, we're all extremely talented at what we do. There's no denying that. On one hand we need to be long-suffering of those who rub us the wrong way but I also think the forums should be a safe place to vent. I've ranted here the same as the rest of us. Nothing to get our fur ruffled about. As long as its not about members or friends of members. Why not say our piece and be done with it.
