My five favorites and what I am reading now...

I hope I will be forgiven for cheating a little. Some of these are series, not individual books.

1. The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan - 13+
2. Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson - 13+
3. The Discworld Series by Terry Pratchett - 13+
4. Dune by Frank Herbert - 13+
5. Battlefield Earth by L. Ron Hubbard - 13+

Those aren't in any particular order.

As for what I am reading right now, I am reading the Plot and Characters and Viewpoint books in the Elements of Fiction series published by Writers' Digest. I am also reading Small Gods by Terry Pratchett.
