-Choose one of the three prompts-

Prompt 1: Write a poem with the word “crash” or “crashed”.

Prompt 2: Write a poem about something captured.

Prompt 3: Write a Rictameter Poem.

Line 1 and Line 9 are the same.

There is no required meter or rhyme.

The poem goes as follows:

line 1 - 2 syllables - same as line 9
line 2 - 4 syllables
line 3 - 6 syllables
line 4 - 8 syllables
line 5 - 10 syllables
line 6 - 8 syllables
line 7 - 6 syllables
line 8 - 4 syllables
line 9 - 2 syllables - same as line 1

Example;

summer
a gentle breeze
an open door to the
garden, invites you to come in
so you can drink with me a cup of tea
or coffee, what ever you like…
take a seat near the tree
cherish the sun…
summer
