My name is Shyxter, I'm 29 years old (but I'm gonna be 30 on the 29th), female with 2 kids =).
I searched online for writing communities and that's how I found Writing.com. I was browsing for a forum here for newbies like me and so I am here =).

My passion for writing is a product of my love for reading. I started reading pocketbooks when I was 12 years old, Francine Pascal (author of the SWEET VALLEY series) was my favorite author then. I followed this series from Sweet Valley Twins, Sweet Valley High School, to Sweet Valley University. I was so engrossed with her books and so the dream of becoming a writer began. As I grew older, I read John Grisham and Sidney Sheldon books. I fell in love with these master story-tellers.

And oh, I'm also a great lover of Shakespeare. I have read most of his works. Much Ado About Nothing and Hamlet are my most favorite stories. His Sonnet 116 is also stuck in my mind forever =).

I am an aspiring writer and really excited to be sharing and learning with you all!
