Poetry is beautiful, no denying that. I've actually tried memorizing poems too *Blush* but I don't have a very strong memory. The only poem I memorized was a verse of Omar Khayyams Rubaiyat because I thought it said a lot about the importance and power of writing:

The Moving Finger writes; and, having writ,
Moves on: nor all thy Piety nor Wit
Shall lure it back to cancel half a Line,
Nor all thy Tears wash out a Word of it.


Well one thing we do have in common is love for non-fiction! I can't read enough of that stuff, and I prowl WDC for non-fiction pieces. I haven't been writing much lately but I'm working on a non-fiction piece that hopefully will be interesting.

You will definitely find people to give you in-depth reviews on your work on WDC and encourage you to write. It did wonders for me and I'm a huge procrastinator. I now find myself waking up in the middle of the night to write!
