Tim, THANK YOU for the history session...

Weekly reviews: Tim, you made a comment that we are all adults. Sadly, that fails to guarantee propriety. We've seen it just in the 2+ yr I've been here. However, I love KISS (Keep It Simple & Successful) (Yes, I rewrote the last word; always thought 'stupid' was rude.) I think it's excellent for each of us to keep the goal of 1 review a week. That will help keep us on track, yet give leeway for busy weeks, or months. Now that I better understand the work of the mods, bless them each and every one, it makes sense to delete the RULE of one review per week. Someone in power and authority, maybe a dragon, will have to prompt those who consistently fall behind. Maybe the suggestion of "no reviews; no posts" will work.

Recruits: Recently I wondered how we got people here. I thought there was a magical portal which attracted them. This room, and Mainstream Manor grow by recruiting. Just learned that. I pretended I was new to WDC and tried to navigate it. IT'S HARDER THAN SKIING IN HELL. Very confusing; there are over a thousand rooms. I also realize anyone with a certain level of paid membership can open a room. I don't play outside of Mainstream Manor and E. Harem.....so I don't recruit. I did just get someone to join WDC from another website I belong to, FetLife.com

As with all things there are positive and negative aspects. Merging w/ Mainstream will give some of us access to more reviewing humans and styles as Tim mentioned. The downside of the Manor is that a few authors avoided me cuz I write bi, and they were opposed to bi/gay/lesbian stuff for their own personal reasons. I respect that, and the fact they had the courage to tell me.

I propose this rating system: on a scale of Zero (no desire) to 10 (highest priority), how important is it to each of us merge into Mainstream Manor? For me it's a 6. I feel this is a more concrete method of measuring our desires.
