Thank you all for your thoughts...I think you're right - jotting down the ideas, but maybe not taking them all on at once is a good idea. I've decided to do this. The more I focus on one, the faster I can get to the others. This makes me have less "ink guilt," as I like to call it - I don't feel bad after splurging on all my thoughts, and then having nothing but unfinished pieces. I'd like to have more "writer-esteem" to draw from. I haven't finished a lot of bigger projects, and I think that would help on my confidence in writing.
I agree that it's a lot to do with writing style. I'm very passionately impulsive...I think I need to reign it in more, though. Thanks for all the advice and insight guys!
