Pen Me Your Name (PenName/Username)

When I decided to sign up as a member on WDC six years ago, and had to think of a username, I thought of it as an obstacle. I was easily discouraged, and thinking up of some witty, personal or funny nickname was turning me off. So I decided to look around and just find something in my surroundings and use that.

Beside me was a box of crunchy almond turron. The brand was elalmendro, a spanish brand. It was my mom's favorite candy at the time. So I just picked that because I didn't want to waste any time trying to think of a cool username... and I kinda like the way it rings.

My handle changes but right now it's my real name.
