How did you come up with your username? Why use a pen name, not your own? Want to share? |
When I first joined this site my user name was mmbabyfac. I never even thought to use my real name because, for one reason, I can't stand my real name. There was also the idea of people being able to know it and then being able to google me. That, at the time, freaked me out. But since I joined almost four years ago there have been people I've shared my real name with and if you are on facebook then your name is there anyway, so how much was I hiding??! Anyway, babyfac was a nickname given to me by my cousins when I was younger and when I signed up that name was already taken so I added the mm (short for mom). My current username was given to me by a friend on this site after explaining to her that I needed a change. There were several reasons for the need of a name change, but mostly I was tired of it.  She, my friend, knew me more than most on here and well anyone who knew/knows me knows I'm very quiet, so quiet in fact that when in chat everyone thought I was whispering to other people instead of interacting in chat (which, by the way, was not the case). If you've been in chat, you know what I mean by whispering. Midnite came from the fact that I'm a dark person and enjoyed staying up past what, for my age, should have been my bed time. I'm not sure if I would ever use my real name for all to see but there are some who know who I am.  Shhh. Whisper..... |
