Hello,

I’m new to your group but I am not new to writing.com. It was suggested by a friend that I should come check out this group and see if I can offer my helping hand. So here I am, and I like so far what I see. I’m going to feel out the questionnaire that was offered to us so that maybe the group members here can get to know me a little better and in return I will try and get to know them a little better.

General About Questions
What would you like us to call you? (Don't feel you have to post your whole name. First names work, or nicknames.) I’ll go by two names here on writing.com. And these are easy to find and see. My first name is Rebecca which I go by 98% of the time. Also, and only here on writing.com I go by nightgirl which is also my handle. Feel free to address me in any of these names.

Are you female or male? (Sometimes we get mixed up with text!) Female

How old are you? (Ballpark?) I’m 19 years old though my birthday is next month.

Do you have a spouse? Siblings? Children? Pets? I’m married to a wonderful guy, Michael. I have a daughter, Amberlee who is my world (she will be two next month WOW) I took a break from writing.com when she was born and have just now found my way back. I also have a dog… like I could forget her, Maddie. Though my husband has decided to give her the full name of Madeline Marie.

How did you find Writing.Com? That was so long ago I no longer remember. Wish I did though. I think I was bored and found it through Google.

How did you find "I.N.K.E.D." ? An old friend pointed me in the direction.


Writing Questions

Who are your favorite authors? My favorite authors are always who I’m currently reading. The only person I have read all the books they have written is Sarah Dessen in Young adult and Anne Rice (because who hasent?)

What type of writing is your passion? I like young adult and fiction

What genres are you interested in writing? (Or reading?) I’ll read anything but Young adult and fantasy are the ones I write the most in.

What do you hope most to gain by being an active member on this site? I hope to gain friends and lasting relationships with people who get me. I hope to gain the wisdom and will power to finsh a book and get published.

What's one thing about this site that you like so far? I’ve always liked how everyone is so friendly.

What are some things you feel other members may be able to help you with? Nothing, what can I help them with?

If you could give one piece of writing advice, what would it be? Write until the end of the story, and then pick up your pen and keep writing.

What's the best piece of writing advice you've ever received? Write everyday.



Goofy or 'Just For Fun' Questions

What's your favorite color? Blue and Black though Black isn’t a color.

If you had only 24 hours to live, what would you do? Spend it with my family.

If you could spend $10,000 dollars on anything you wanted, what would you do with it? I would upgrade my membership here on WDC, and I would get the money to start the adoption process so my husband can adopt OUR daughter. I would then put the rest up for college cause I know I will need it.
