I am so happy to have found this website. Being new to this site I have been given some great advice for my novel and poems. I'm revamping my novel since this is my first attempt at writing one I want it to be perfect however it is a little overwhelming but it is too much fun to not finish what I started. I am looking to meet great people who are willing to share their knowledge about writing and also making some friends along the way :P. My goal is to publish my work, even if I don't become a millionaire or my book never becomes a movie at least my words will last forever. Success is determined by only you not others, at least that's how I feel. I am not a college graduate and I've never taken any writing classes however I read everyday. Ever since I could remember I've always had a book in my hand. Goosebumps was the first horror/thriller book I read as a child and ever since then I was addicted to the adrenaline. I read a lot of books that make you go :O, mostly thriller, murder mystery, horror and even the paranormal. I have a twisted imagination but I do have a heart of gold. I am profoundly fascinated with serial killers and why they do what they do BUT I do not praise them one bit. I want to create a story about a serial killer starting with how he became who he is and ending with a bang. Im still not sure if I want my killer to die. In all honesty I don't. I don't know if this would be a good idea considering this is my first book but Im thinking it could lead to a second book. Im in a loop, Im still getting a feel for my main character. Im still learning how to write a novel. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, I am a very open-minded individual and I take criticism easily. Please don't hesitate let me know what you think :).
