General About Questions What would you like us to call you? uncommonspirit is fine or Indy. (long story) Are you female or male? I'm female. How old are you? 40 something Do you have a spouse? I'm married and have one furbaby. How did you find Writing.Com? I stumbled on it one night. I'm a writer and so I was immediately sucked in. How did you find "I.N.K.E.D." ? I was practicing favoriting stuff and saw "coffee lounge" and thought to myself, "I like coffee." Favorite! Writing Questions Who are your favorite authors? Robert A. Heinlein, Robert Jordan, Nora Roberts, Jane Austen, C.S. Forrester. What type of writing is your passion? Fantasy and Sci-fi storys...or whatever pays the bills. What genres are you interested in writing? (Or reading?) Fantasy and Sci-fi stories, romances are fun too. What do you hope most to gain by being an active member on this site? To gain second opinions of my writing. I'm still fairly new to it and lack a little confidence at times. What's one thing about this site that you like so far? All the stories to read. What are some things you feel other members may be able to help you with? Give honest opinions of my work. If you could give one piece of writing advice, what would it be? Never give up. Never surrender. What's the best piece of writing advice you've ever received? Remember the period goes INSIDE the quotation mark. Doh! What is your favorite quote? By who? Enjoy a sunset and spend the day with my hubby. Send good-byes to all my friends. If the whole world were listening, what would you say? (We're not the whole world, but we're listening!) I'd like to teach the world to sing, in perfect harmony.... If there was one thing you could do in your life you can't right now, for whatever reason, what would it be and why? I have an answer to that, but it is too personal to write here. If one song were to describe your life, what song would it be and who is it by? Windy by The Association If you could spend $10,000 dollars on anything you wanted, what would you do with it? Oh, probably a workshop/vacation in Italy, a new computer, a rolling mill, hydraulic press and assorted forming accessories for my studio. Always need new tools.
