I recognize your voice. I couldn't describe it but if I were to read say your piece, a piece for Angelo, a piece from Arpita, and several others, I bet I could pretty much tell who wrote which. Voice is abstract to people like me. I don't know how it comes about, but we recognize it. Diane and Katz are very good at helping to develop it. I just know that getting the first rendering down in ANY form is important. My theory is if you pay attention to all the the mechanics as you write, you are in danger of destroying your natural voice.
I have a check list of things to check for. That way, I don't forget anything--I miss things--but don't forget to check for them. Rixy
