Noticing Newbies

Hi everyone,

My name is Stephanie and I am really hoping to get to know some great writers to share work with. I have always loved to write and have secretly been hoping for a career as an author since I had a fable published in the Miami Herald was I was in third grade. I have been writing a little bit here and there trying my hand at short stories (and poetry for the first time this year) ever since but my true love is novels. I am currently working on a novel but it is really slow going and I am serious need of feedback. When I am not dissolved in my little worlds of fiction I am waitress and college student majoring in history. While I really still hope to be published and become a full time writer, my more realistic fall back is college history professor although I still have 4 years of school before I get my Master's and can start actually teaching.
