Noticing Newbies

Well I found this site after getting frustrated that Writersmarket became paid...guess I haven't been online enough...I'm fairly new to all the online places but I learn a lot form the sites I spend time on and this looks to be no exception.

I love writing...I read a lot and sometimes after reading something I think..."I may be able to do this, my stuff is pretty good"...then I read other things that make me think "I'm horrible...my stuff sucks." There's a wide disparity out there but I love doing it so I think I'll just stay at it. I am eager to post a few things and get some truly brutal feedback to see if I am even close to the right track or if I should not "quite my day job" so the saying goes...

Writing is so damn hard...it's wonderful to see so many people probably in the same boat as me...encouragment is so important!!!
