Hey mariapiortte,

Anyone who has a basic membership can create a forum. Normally those are the individuals who host their own activities, contests, and challenges. They get posted when the member puts them up, but most of the time each contest lasts form the first day of the month to the last. There is only two official wdc contests, and you can find them at the top of the contest page.
