Top of the Morning!

Well hello fellow writers! I'm brand new to the site, and seeing as it is 0237, my brain is a little tired. I was wondering about the forums: is there one moderator that organizes contests and assignments/prompts? How often are they posted? Is it a regular thing, or just whenever someone decides new material needs posting?

I joined one of these types of sites a few years back and got really busy with school, but now that I'm graduated and I have a little more life experience, I'd like to get back into writing, so here I am!
