I'd like to see a sample of your work, but understand your qualms about posting here. Having an empty portfolio since 2008, though, seems self defeating if you truly want feedback on your novel. Posting privately with a passkey might work for you.

I personally relish all the helpful comments from WDC members on my various stories. Because I chose to self publish my two novels, the reviews I got on them beforehand by posting five chapters at a time were invaluable. My typos and plot holes were caught by other eagle-eyed writers.
