I'm 100% computer bound. Paper doesn't work for me. I also like to just go and type as I go, although I have noticed that good ideas get lost like that.
For this adventure, I am planning to use the book item (I still have to create it) to double as my note taking pad and also to keep all my exercises leading up to kick off etc.
The good thing about the WdC book item is the "manage" function. Even things that weren't entered chronologically can be rearranged to be grouped, so that in the end all notes, prep work, and chapters are in cohesive blocks.
Other than that, I always keep a copy of everything on two computers, send it to myself as an email attachment, and burn it to CD. Compulsive? Maybe. I once lost eight hours of work when my laptop decided to [*] out and I lost everything from that day. I hope never to lose more than maybe 1000 words, which are easier to reconstruct than ten pages.
