I enjoyed reading your epiphany article. It took me back to a similar situation in my grade school. The father of a girl in our class was the school janitor, a respectable and necessary job, but unfortunately it didn't pay well and the family struggled. I have often thought it's sad that she was disrespected by some of her classmates.

You were wise in elementary school in your perception of the way society thinks, but even wiser when you discovered that your career choices should come from within rather relying on opinions of others.
