I'm always amazed at how many writers say English is their worse subject. I think it's admirable that you learned quatrains and found your style of poetry all by yourself. I took an interesting elective a couple of quarters ago in college and learned a lot about poetry I didn't know, including some good exercises to get past those 'humps' we all seem to go through. I am also eager to learn new poetry forms, and it never ceases to amaze me how well so many people pull off harder and longer forms of poetry styles. Once day I'd really love to write an Epic Poem!
