Hello, everybody!

General About Questions

What would you like us to call you?
Mouse works, or Meagan, which is my name.
Are you female or male? (Sometimes we get mixed up with text!)
         Female
How old are you? (Ballpark?)
         14
Do you have a spouse? Siblings? Children?
         I have a ten-year-old sister.
How did you find Writing.Com?
Hmm, I'm pretty sure someone was talking about it at the NaNoWriMo forums last year.
How did you find "I.N.K.E.D." ?
I was just browsing WDC and happened to come across it.

Writing Questions

Who are your favorite authors?
Douglas Adams, Isaac Asimov, Arthur C. Clarke, Robert A. Heinlein, Frank Herbert, H. G. Wells, Jules Verne, and lately, Jasper Fforde.
What type of writing is your passion?
Stories with ideas behind them. I'll be reading some science article or something (because I'm a nerd *Smile*) and I'll get a great idea for a story.
What genres are you interested in writing? (Or reading?)
         Science fiction.
What do you hope most to gain by being an active member on this site?
I want to become a better writer and help others do the same.
What's one thing about this site that you like so far?
Reviewing. I love both getting and giving reviews.
What are some things you feel other members may be able to help you with?
I think any opinion is helpful, so I love for people to review my stories, especially the stranger ones.
If you could give one piece of writing advice, what would it be?
Keep your mind open. You never know what will inspire a story. Oh, and write those ideas down. You don't want to forget.
What's the best piece of writing advice you've ever received?
         Avoid adverbs.
What is your favorite quote? By who?
Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read. -Groucho Marx

Goofy or 'Just For Fun' Questions

What's your favorite color?
         Green.
If you had only 24 hours to live, what would you do?
Write. As much as I possibly could.
If the whole world were listening, what would you say? (We're not the whole world, but we're listening!)
Don't be afraid to follow your dreams. You only get one life; make it a good one.
If there was one thing you could do in your life you can't right now, for whatever reason, what would it be and why?
Devote a huge amount of time every day to writing. I love school, but it's a little time-consuming. The only reason I'm looking forward to summer (besides being able to sleep in *Smile*) is having time to write as much as I want to.
If one song were to describe your life, what song would it be and who is it by?
I can't think of any songs that describe my life, but some of my favorites are . . . hmm, that question is impossible. My favorite artists are the Decemberists, Tarkio, the Beatles, Florence + the Machine, Regina Spektor, and more that I can't think of right now.
If you could spend $10,000 dollars on anything you wanted, what would you do with it?
I would buy a really nice computer and put the rest toward college.
