Well it's May 1st, and it's officially Go-Go-Go!

How excited am I? Well, 'very, very' to tell the truth. My energy levels are somewhat aided by the huge pink smartie cake my family and I have just demolished in aid of my little maid's 3rd birthday. Personally, I don't think one can't beat a bit of sugar at the end of the day as a pep up before an evening of WDC.

So, here are my answers to the lovely Riot's Q n A:

General About Questions:

What would you like us to call you?
         Kaylee or K. I'm a lazy whatsit, so I'd probably call myself K!

Are you female or male? (Sometimes we get mixed up with text!)
         Female

How old are you? (Ballpark?)
         37 and 17 days...

Do you have a spouse? Siblings? Children?
         I have an amazing Hubble (Cross between Hubbie and Trouble) and two gorgeous mini-beasts aged 3 (today) and 4.

How did you find Writing.Com?
         I don't really remember. It was probably a search on Google. This answer gives you a fair insight into my skill level when it comes to attention to detail.

How did you find "I.N.K.E.D." ?
         The very lovely Riot and I got talking one day. She had a gazillion great ideas. I had a couple. We added them together and here you have this wonderful group.


Writing Questions:

Who are your favorite authors?
         Sooooo many. Too hard to remember them all. Did I mention my appalling attention to detail? Hmmmm: Enid Blyton, Charlotte Bronte, Jane Austen, Stephanie Meyer, Kate Mosse...

What type of writing is your passion?
         Character driven stories. I like to write 'em short, and I like to write 'em long.

What genres are you interested in writing? (Or reading?)
         Romance, Fantasy and Sci-Fi light.

What do you hope most to gain by being an active member on this site?
         I would like to continue to develop as a writer. I've come a long way in just 8 months, and I've still a long way to go.

What's one thing about this site that you like so far?
         Camaraderie.

What are some things you feel other members may be able to help you with?
         Goodness. Anything and everything. I'm open to learning.

If you could give one piece of writing advice, what would it be?
         You don't know till you try.

What's the best piece of writing advice you've ever received?
         Write it. Walk away from it. Write it again.

What's your favorite color?
         Purple, Red, Blue, Orange, Pink, Green, Yellow. Did I tell you, I'm very good at decision making?

If you had only 24 hours to live, what would you do?
         Find my family and be with them.

If the whole world were listening, what would you say? (We're not the whole world, but we're listening!)
         Life is way too short for fighting.

If there was one thing you could do in your life you can't right now, for whatever reason, what would it be and why?
         I would find a way to guarantee my childrens long-term health.

If one song were to describe your life, what song would it be and who is it by?
         Too big a question, but my two favourite songs are: The Bare Necessities, because it makes me smile and Something Inside (Labi Siffre), because it is what it is. Oh, and 'It's Raining Men' because I can't help but get up and dance when it comes on. Not to forget Dancing Queen from Abba because it's a classic. Did I say two? Ach well, like I say, I'm great at sticking to the point and not losing track of where I started.

If you could spend $10,000 dollars on anything you wanted, what would you do with it?
         I'd help my Mum out a bit.
