Cache's Club Cliche

Hi All!
I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Beck, your assistant on this wild and awesome journey we call the Writer's Cache. I've been with Diane as an assistant for, oh, about 100 dog years or so. Well, okay, not really, but we've had quite a great time with classes in the past and I've gotten to spy on your work a bit and I can't wait to get started. It seems I always learn a new approach or something every term, which is one of the reasons I love helping Diane out with this class (well, that and she's just an awesome instructor, so that always helps.)

A little about me - I've been with WdC since 2007 or so, and I've been writing for, like many of you, most of my life. I love short stories but am beginning to shift a bit toward writing novels as well. I've got 3 NaNo novels in my port and last year I became an ML (leader) of my own NaNo region. I'm currently well into revisions of my 2010 NaNo novel and I hope to have it out there in the big, bad world before summer gets into full swing.

I look forward to talking to all of you this term and getting to know you. I can't wait to see your writing and the discussions we have for every lesson in this class. It's a great ride and I will, of course, be ready to help anyone who might need assistance in any way. I'm here for all of you, so don't hesitate to give me a holler if you want an idea/opinion, or you just need someone to vent on because a certain lesson isn't going how you want it to (I know characters can be fickle people... sometimes they just don't do what you want them to do!)

I'm ready for the awesome journey into Cache, and I hope you are, too!
