Oh, traveling carpenter! I had heard that you had even earlier been with the Pharisee Nicodemus, a good man who has asked many questions about this baptism. I heard he was not sure about it. Is it true that you revealed that you are the Son of Man to him? The second person of the Trinity? Perhaps, last night? I noted that young John of Zebedee was right there in the dark, little room with you, Jesus and Nicodemus and that Nicodemus was afraid to be seen with you. That there was only a small lantern lit for you to speak with him. Yes, I know that Pharisees are very strict Jews who believe in keeping God's law better than other people did. And they must have forgotten that God's law of LOVE and God's mercy is foremost to you, I think. Am I right? You have worked a miracle in Cana of Galilee. But then these enemies. I hope you can completely find safety, dining with Nicodemus. I would like to dine there, too. I am in complete agreement that your safety is uppermost. You have made enemies. You have been with the money-changers. They are claiming all kinds of threats concerning their money. I will praise you now! You must be the One! A great man from the city of Nazareth. I heard you at the River Jordan. "You must be born again, of water and the Holy Spirit. Before you can go into God's Kingdom." Is this in relation to the Church you have already spoken of to your Disciples (of which one I am partial to) and then to Nicodemus in the dark little room at night at his house? Now in daylight at dinnertime we are issued in as travelers to be with you? Thank you. For I am hungry too. But, also, for another kind of food.
