Yes, I feel I have had to hear this. I am taking a gaze at some travelers that appear to be holy men. Maybe it is a mirage. You know me, I may not be young but I am frail and not been sure of what I see. However, I had distinctly thought I had seen a hindu holy man with a blind woman. "Hegios. Kodosh." Elena  But to speak now of remembering the Sabbath to keep it holy. It is a good thing. I find my church a wonder. It speaks of beauty just in the presence of stepping foot in it. So sacred, such a piece of legend. Now in today's Western society there is a desire for a synthetic appearance, dye for hair, paint for the face, mascara and liner for the eyes, and other forms of make- up. Queen Jezebel whose image speaks of rebellion and opposition to all that is Christ-like says that "Jehu was come to Jezreel, Jezebel, and she painted her face and tired her head and looked out a window (II Kings 9:30). I am sorry that I have done this when having gone to church and having worn a hat when I was young and so adorned myself that I looked like an alligator in a china shop. I am more revised to modesty these days."I will therefore that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting. In likewise manner, also, that women adorn themselves with modest apparel (I Timothy 2:8-9). For, "holy, holy, holy" comes from the vision of Isaiah 1:3 and that Of John in Revelation 4:8. Jesus as he is in his modest holiness amongst us on this journey spoke of the need for inward and outward holiness when he scourged the scribes and Pharisees. "Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisee, hypocrites! For ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but with that they are full of extortion and excess." (Math 23:25). I am humble in this task for I know I might have at times created a mess with such adornment and given over to it merely for the wish of wealthy arrayment.
