Amos, being good and right is just the beginning I think. Anybody can be good and right, but not everybody can be holy. There's something more here, that I think we're missing. Yes, Jesus had a belly-button, is human like us, but He is also Messiah, set apart by Father God to be our Messiah. Father told me that holiness means that God is separate from us because of our sin. We must make a concerted effort to separate ourselves from the world around us and live the way Jesus is telling us we need to live. He tells us we are to turn the other cheek, not strike back. We are to give if there is a need and not horde our bounty when we see someone with a true need, and then of course there is that thing about loving our enemies. He keeps coming back to that. If we do everything Jesus says, then we would be separate from all those who don't do that. At least that's my guess.
