Amos,
I too fear the Romans would react harshly if they find our gathering and discussions. I fear not only for myself, but my family and friends who share in our business. I must return to check on our boats.

It is strange, the things we have experienced and learned in this cave. I usually hate being inside anywhere. I much prefer the outside, but I have found by listening to John the Baptist and Jesus however briefly to now, something no less than a miracle has happened here.

Jews, Gentiles, men and women have come together at great risk to their very lives and become friends. I think this is straight from God in his son Jesus. In some mysterious way it has changed our hearts. It seems for the better for most though you never really know anothers mind. Some may have hardened their hearts to far to return. I hope not. Jesus will return to us soon. We will have to disperse. What shall that mean to each of us?

Amos, here is a new bottle of wine for you in case our paths take a different route in the next days. I consider you friend, you are welcome at my home as are each of you. We should be considering which of us will be traveling together to ensure only few at a time and greater safety as we journey on.
