Ahh. . .The sabbath. You know I recently heard a quip from one of my countrymen that this may in fact be the main reason that the Jews have remained downtrodden for so long.

Simply put.:"Whatever land they can conquer in six days, they will surely have to surrender on the seventh."

Actually, I reread that Creation story of yours, and honestly, the more I read about the Jewish religjon, the more contradictory I find it. First, you say that this God is all powerful and cannot even be represented in stone the way our gods can, but then you tell us that he needs to rest.

That's ironic. I could see Jupiter or Juno resting from time to time, but if this Jehovah existed and he were to rest, I think the universe would just about fall apart or something.

Ah well. . .This gets back to my point about how nobody can seriously expect cultures other then the Jews to worship Jehovah. No culture which is serious about accomplishing things can reasonably expect people not to work for a day every week.

It simply is not practical.
