Only time will tell who this John the Baptist is, but I hear his mother Elizabeth was barren before she gave birth to this John. I also hear that he is the son of Zacharias, the prophet. Our Father granted her womb to bear seed, I find that an exciting thought! I do believe that this is a FACT. Do none of you believe in miracle's anymore?

I also heard that his father became silent during Elizabeth's pregnancy by the angel of the LORD because he did not believe God's Words were true. What will happen if we, too, doubt God and the coming of the Messiah? Will we become silent? The thought of it all makes me shiver!

I choose to believe and my heart leaps for joy. My family and I will will travel to go see this man who baptizes with water. I feel that I should be baptized as well. It only makes me wonder how the events surrounding the coming Messiah will unfold.
